I became an instant Sara Ney fan after reading her Douchebag Series so I jumped at the chance to read these three novellas. I went in completely blind and after the first 5 percent I was hooked. These stories are all interconnected which is something I really liked. It gave them a sense of being one story but three different chapters about different couples.
One of the strong suits of these stories are the fact that each story has a completely different set up, and it just works. Furthermore, these books are written with Sara Ney’s signature comic sense and I was full on laughing several times, and other times has me swooning over these hero but there was one Dexter who really ran of with my heart. But what really captured my heart and is something I haven’t encountered a lot of if the fat that primarily book one (Things Liars Fake) is the incorporation of social media and whoosh makes this book really relevant and relatable in this day and age.
Personally I liked the first and third story more than the second as I felt it dragged a little compared to the other two. All in all I spent a few days reading and loving these books, which is why Three Little Lies gets 4 stars.
