I received this book for free from in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
My boss already controls my days; do I want to give him my nights, as well?
I’ve seen what happens when you give everything to a man. That's not what I want. I won't have my heart crushed in anyone's fist.
Then he changed everything.
Him. Bennett Ashby. My boss.
Seeing him at Luminous, dressed in leather pants and wielding a whip...
Do I crave this?
My mind says no, but my body is starting to have very different ideas.
I knew Rebecca Morales would be the perfect assistant. That's why I hired her.
I didn't know that working with her every day would lead to temptation—to own her, to possess her.
When she walked into Luminous, I knew I was screwed. Dipping your pen in the company ink is never smart, but we both agreed what happens at the club stays there.
One night and then it's back to business tomorrow.

This is the third book in the Luminous series, each book is a Standalone. I loved Long For Me! It carries you along at a fast pace and the action is off the charts hot. Bennett and Rebecca are my favorite couple in this series, so far.
Rebecca Morales has been working at Ashby Enterprises for 6 years, having started out as an intern; she recently got promoted to the position of Bennett Ashby’s Executive Assistant two months ago. Two looong months ago. She always had a crush for the CEO of the company, the man she thinks as “stunningly beautiful”, but also incredibly rude and a stern taskmaster.
Bennett Ashby has been attracted to Rebecca for some time. He’s rude and demanding to her because that’s his way of keeping his urges at bay. He’s a member of the Luminous Club, it caters to the BDSM crowd, and Bennett is well known there. He’s pretty sure his urges to own and possess Rebecca would scare her off.
Rebecca’s neighbors/friends, Miranda and Shawn, are members at Luminous. She knows about their kinky lifestyle, one she doesn’t understand. Having grown up with an abusive father, Rebecca can’t believe a woman would allow herself to be beaten for pleasure. Yet she sees how loving Shawn is towards Miranda, treating her like his queen. She agrees to accompany them to the club for New Year’s Eve open house party. She’s pleasantly surprised; it’s not the scary dungeon she imagined. Rebecca’s even more shocked to see her boss on stage whipping a woman.
Bennett’s equally surprised finding Rebecca at Luminous and decides to take advantage of the situation. He decides that she must be intrigued by the lifestyle and makes a move. After some discussion and agreeing that they would keep this private and not interfere with their boss/employee relationship, Rebecca agrees to try it for a night. Bennett decides that he’ll make it a night she won’t forget.
“Happy New Year, Miss Morales. I hope this year is your best one yet. I have a feeling it will be.”
When Rebecca finds cold, rude Bennett the next day at work, she’s a little upset but not surprised. As per their rule, that she insisted on, it’s business as usual for him.
“He didn’t care that he’d fucked me. In fact, he’d promised he wouldn’t mention our night, keeping our personal and our professional lives separated.
I just didn’t think he’d be the same bossy prick he’d always been.
But that was my fault. And now I was learning.
The only way Bennett was going to settle soft and kind eyes on me and whisper gentle words in my ears again was if I dropped to my knees and begged him to.”
Argggg! Have I said that I loved this story and this couple? Because I do! While Club Luminous caters to the BDSM crowd, this story doesn’t really go into it that scene very much; it’s used in the background. Bennett is more of a control freak Dom, and thankfully for her, not a Sadist. Poor Rebecca had some very serious childhood issues to overcome and Bennett proved to be the right person to help her. Chloe and Simon, from Book #2, make a short appearance and I was happy to see them, again. I look forward to more couples like these, in more Luminous books, please keep them coming!
