Jack and Dean love each other, but they’re missing the woman to complete their triangle. When newly divorced Paige Richards buys a Bed and Breakfast on Hamlet Island and employs them to help her fix the inn up, Jack and Dean are sure they’ve found the one they’ve been looking for.
Despite the playful, sexy clues they drop, luscious Paige is reticent about getting involved, even when they set the stage so she can stumble on them in action. They can tell by her responses she wants to join them, but rumors travel fast on the small island, and tales of a threesome could get back to the conservative, family vacation crowd who won’t patronize those with an alternative lifestyle.
And the last thing they want for Paige is the B&B’s rooms…and her bank account…to remain empty. But Jack and Dean will stop at nothing to prove to Paige that she can have it all…with them.
This was my first book by this author, but the blurb drew me in from the start. Two men in a committed relationship are looking to include someone else in their relationship. As a hardcore ménage fan, it was the first time I had stumbled upon such a set up. To say I was excited to start this book is putting it lightly.
Paige is a 28-year-old divorcee who bought a bad and breakfast on Hamlet Island where she spent her childhood, in hopes of recuperating and healing. She hires her friends Jack and Dean, a guy couple who she befriended when she returned to the island, as the handy men to help her restore the B&B. But what she doesn’t know is that they are looking for a woman who can fulfill their hopes and dreams of turning their twosome into a threesome, and Paige is the woman they want.
This book contains a strong storyline, and some great characters. Paige is a strong woman, she puts everything she has on the line to make her dream some true despite the attempts from outside sources who try to thwart her efforts. The fact that she stands up for herself when the going gets tough just makes me appreciate her more. Jack and Dean are really great guys, as different as night and day, but they are so in tune, it just works. Their not so subtle attempts to try and let Paige know they want her are steamy, and yet adorable. I didn’t think it could get any steamier, but when they finally get together, they incinerate your kindle. However, this book is quite short and I would not only have loved if it were longer, because the storyline could have been elaborated but it would have given more insights into Jack and Dean who at times seemed a little flat, which is why this book gets 3.5 stars.
