A sexy new romantic comedy from USA Today bestselling author Lex Martin and bestselling author Leslie McAdam…

ALL ABOUT THE D

I'm known for being formal. Meticulous. Professional.
So you’d never suspect I spend my nights photographing my impressive junk for a NSFW blog. Don’t roll your eyes. I’m not bragging. I have millions of followers who’ll tell you they live for my posts.
I’m like a superhero, saving humanity one dick pic at a time.
Except leading a double life means I need someone to help me protect my anonymity, so that no one, especially my family, ever discovers my online celebrity.
When I call one of the most respected law firms in town, I expect quality legal advice and confidentiality. Not a sinfully sexy attorney whose dangerous curves and soul-piercing gray eyes make me want to personally demonstrate my particular skill set.
I shouldn’t be tempted.
Especially when she knows all of my best-kept secrets. But everyone has a breaking point. And I’ve met mine.

℘℘℘℘℘

This little gem is by an amazing writing duo that got inspired by a real life blogger that posts things about, you guessed it, his D! I “might” have seen his page on a certain web site (the one that starts with a T and ends with an r) a few months ago. We have him to thank, in a roundabout way, for his creativity with his D **wink-wink**

Evie Mills is an associate at Waller, Goldman and Associates, located in Portland. She specializes in intellectual property and business transactions. Evie’s a practical, wear sensible shoes, young attorney who want to make partner. She has no time for anything other than work, to pay off her huge student loan, and restoring her dilapidating Craftsman-style bungalow. She has an older Australian shepherd, Chauncey, that she rescued from a shelter. Evie’s been single after breaking up with her boyfriend two years ago. Her life isn’t exciting and she’s okay with it. After receiving a phone call from a potential client she’s unsure if the law firm would want to represent him. He’s definitely not their typical upper-crust variety client.

Josh, no last name, and needs an attorney to represent him in some negotiations that Evie’s is more than capable of handling. When he sends her an email with a NSFW warning attached to it, she’s a little apprehensive about surfing porn at work. That’s because Josh, her potential new client, is a pornographic blogger and his blog is called All About the D.

“Once I’m over the shock of the X-rated python before me, I take a good long look. Because, truthfully, I’ve never seen one this size in real life. I feel like I’m paddling down the Amazon, and I just spotted my first anaconda.”

“Now how the hell am I going to sell this client to the firm?”

Evie sets up a meeting at a coffee shop with the anonymous blogger to discuss representing him. It’s a good thing that she goes on a shopping spree beforehand, with her best friend Kendall, after hearing Angela, another associate, call her Miss Frumpy. For a Waller event she may or may not be invited to. And not to impress Josh, but Nathan, another attorney she’s been crushing on.

“Is it pathetic that I’m shopping for an outfit when I don’t even have an invite?” “No way. It’s smart, like buying Magnum XL condoms for a date. Because you never know, and a girl can hope, right?”

“Sadly, after what happened yesterday, I’m thinking I need more than one dress. I’m tired of feeling like a fashion reject.”

Josh Cartwright has a reason to not want to disclose his last name. He comes from THE most prominent family in Portland, an institution for one hundred and eighty years. His siblings are all overachievers. Spence, his brother, is running for the US Senate and it wouldn’t do for anyone to find out about Josh’s other business. As far as his family knows, he runs his own legitimate business, JC Design, a thriving architecture firm. He started the blog after his best friend since childhood, Drew Merritt, suggested and dared him to do it as a way to get over his ex. She was the girl he grew up with and his entire family thought was a perfect match. He thought so too, until she cheated on him. Now that his blog has over 2,000,000 followers he has quite a few business offers to consider including one from Caligula Toys. Hence, his need for an attorney. He knows that he can’t go to the family law firm so he needs Waller Goldman to represent him. Specifically, Evelyn Mills. So, besides himself and Drew, Evie will be the only other person to know it’s his D in the blog. When they meet at the coffee shop they’re both surprised. Evie gets the shock of her life to find out the gorgeous blogger is a Cartwright. And Josh is surprised his attorney is so incredibly beautiful. Well, almost attorney. She still has to sell his case to the partners.

“I can’t believe I just said the words ‘dildo,’ ‘lube,’ ‘bondage,’ ‘BDSM,’ and ‘vibrators’ to my boss.”

When they later run into each other in the park he literally rescues her. Josh helps Evie home and  discovers they’re almost neighbors. He realizes she was the buyer to the bungalow he saw a while ago and had been interested in. Josh soon begins to help her in the renovations, and Evie helps him with certain “molds” he needs to make. Purely for business.

I loved this story! From the very beginning I was cheering for Evie and Josh. Who knew a story about a blogger that never shows his face, just his D, would be so amazing? I had so many pages and quotes highlighted that I couldn’t include, due to certain words. You’ll just have to buy it and read it yourself. Because you’ll want to I promise you!

**********

All About The D is a super fun story that I enjoyed from start to finish! My first book by these authors and I’m looking forward to more!
“Oh, this one is kinda cute too. The way it’s tilted over like the Leaning Tower of Pisa.”
That’s his thing. A theme. I suppose.” In between pics and gifs of him jerking off are fairly beautiful shots of his d* as the Eiffel Tower, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water, or the Burj Khalifa.”

Josh started his NSFW blog, All About The D, on a bet, but the posts featuring his large ‘member’ photoshopped onto architectural backgrounds became a sensation. When he starts getting offers to work with an adult toy company, he realizes that he needs a lawyer’s help.
Not sure if it is her best idea, Evie tries to get the firm she works for to take Josh on as a client. But both her and her Australian shepherd, Chauncey can’t resist Josh’s charms and quickly find themselves becoming attached!!
“You mean my big badass architect had trouble with a little molding kit?” I hate that calling him my architect feels so right when it’s so damn wrong. He’s a client, I remind myself. Just a client and a friend.
“Watch it, woman. I’m not above spanking my attorney.”
Hello. I think I’m on board with this idea. Behave. Evie!
He chuckles and leans close. “You’d like that, wouldn’t you?”

With a title like All About The D, you might expect this RomCom to be loaded with juvenile ‘D’ jokes and puns. Well, you would be right. But as much as this story is in every way all about that ‘D’ and the trouble it gets into, it is still so much more than just a humorous story.
“When you reach the bottom of the barrel, you can only float up, right? I mean, if you don’t drown.”
I absolutely loved All About The D. A sexy, funny, sweet story with just enough drama to keep me flipping pages. I was always rooting for Evie and Josh to navigate their way through trials and troubles.
-Diane-      5 Stars!

Leslie McAdam

Leslie McAdam is a California girl who loves romance, Little Dude, and well-defined abs. She lives in a drafty old farmhouse on a small orange tree farm in Southern California with her husband and two small children. Leslie always encourages her kids to be themselves – even if it means letting her daughter wear leopard print from head to toe. An avid reader from a young age, she will always trade watching TV for reading a book, unless it’s Top Gear. Or football. Leslie is employed by day but spends her nights writing about the men you fantasize about. She’s unapologetically sarcastic and notoriously terrible at comma placement.

Always up for a laugh, Leslie tries to see humor in all things. When she’s not in the writing cave you’ll find her fangirling over Beck, camping with her family, or mixing up oil paints to depict her love of outdoors on canvas.
