I received this book for free from in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

The moment everything changed didn’t happen in that cliché rockets-red-glare kind of way, it happened in the form of a waking nightmare. I caught my husband, my high-school sweetheart, the father of my children, balls deep in a sordid affair.
That was when I gave up on men and love.
I didn’t count on the NHL’s golden boy, the beautiful, arrogant Cooper Stone turning my life and my hockey rink upside down.

My kids are why I wake up in the morning.

Hockey is what Cooper breathes for.

We’re from different worlds and places in our lives but when our hearts collided something so wrong and different turned into something so right

✯☆☆҉‿➹⁀☆҉  4 STARS☆҉‿➹⁀☆҉☆✯

Divorced after surprising her husband being unfaithful with his assistant, Parker starts her life over with her two kids. She’s given an ice skating rink that’s been in her family for several generations, specializing in Hockey. With NHL players going to her for rehab, she meets Cooper Stone, who needs therapy after his knee surgery. He’s the Captain of a NHL team, who’s also an Olympic gold medal winner and won five Stanley Cups, Cooper makes a bad impression the first time they meet. Lucky for us, that changes, and fast!

Thinking that Cooper’s going to be gone after his two months of rehab are finished, Parker starts a hot and heavy fling. When Cooper moves in on Parker’s life, like a bulldozer plowing through, we’re in for a topsy-turvy ride.

“I’ve had many years with a man who not only looked through me, he passed by me, not stopping to look at me. But you, you see me. I’ve had many years not smiling. Now I smile so much my cheeks hurt. I smile for no reason at all. I smile at you and because of you.”

Throw in Parker’s ex-husband—James (they share joint custody of Matthew and Allison)—and his new fiancée—Tiffany—and Cooper’s ex-girlfriend—Monica—for a little fun and mayhem. Through it all, Parker has a loyal best friend, Meghan, and her husband Tom, who support and are loyal to her and the kids.

“I’ve had many years of little kisses, but none of them made my heart flutter like yours, none of them left me breathless because of them, none of them I longed for. I want you, I want this I want this more than I care to admit. I want you to want me.”

I love Romance with an über-Alpha hero like Cooper, especially if he’s a sports athlete (Check, Check). A mature heroine, Parker’s 34 years-old to Cooper’s 30 (Check). Funny, smart banter (Check). And hot, HOT sex (CHECK!!!).

All in a fast paced story that kept me up reading until the wee hours of the night. I loved it! Something So Right, indeed! So very, very right.

About Natasha Madison

When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
