He was born to ascend.
He was destined to lead.
He was never meant to fail.

Prophet Cain lies broken and defeated on the floor of his cell. A cell he has been thrown into by the one person who was supposed to stand by his side until the end. His flesh and blood, his only companion. His beloved twin brother.
Cain has sacrificed everything for his people. He left the safety and security of his life of study to infiltrate the infamous Hades Hangmen. He lived with them, rode with them, and then betrayed them. All in the name of a faith he can now feel slipping away from him. Like everything else he once held dear…

But then his isolation is broken. Another prisoner is brought to the cell next to his. A woman fighting her own demons and fears. A woman who Cain understands needs him, as he needs her.

As the connection between them grows, so does Cain’s resolve. He will right the wrongs he has done. He will atone for the evil acts carried out in his name. He will save the one he loves…
… Even if the battle takes him to the gates of hell itself.

Contemporary Dark Romance. Contains explicit sexual situations, violence, sensitive and taboo subjects, offensive language, and mature topics. Recommended for age 18 years and up.

When I read the first Hades Hangmen book, “It Ain’t Me, Babe”, in December 2014, I was so mesmerized by the story it ruined my Christmas. I read “Hearts Recaptured” during my Easter break and I was a mess. “Souls Unfractured” was released on my birthday last year and I suffered from a book hangover like no other. Well, I think you are starting to see a pattern here. So when “Deep Redemption” was released while I was on vacation, it’s not difficult to understand why I needed to come home and be alone before I read it, right?

I just finished “Deep Redemption” and I didn’t think Ms. Cole could top her own work with the previous books in the series, but she did.

Any fan of this story knows Prophet Cain and Rider. We have followed him from the beginning to his ascent as Prophet Cain. We have seen this struggles, but now we see his fight.

Harmony—our heroine. She is the soft voice behind the wall and a fierce protector of those she loves. She has the true heart and soul of a warrior. She is everything the Prophet needs to gain the salvation to his people, and she gives it.

This story has every element that makes a story amazing for me. A tortured hero, and strong heroine, and a captivating storyline.

Ms. Cole tells a tale of how different forms of love and the bonds that are created from love can either redeem or condemn you. It is all based on the choices you make; the strength of your convictions.

If you ask me, Ms. Cole is a born storyteller and the literary world will benefit from her stories and characters for a long time to come.

The tag line of this story is, “All hail the Prophet”, but I say ” All hail Tillie Cole”.

I rate this book at an incredible 5 stars. I can’t wait to read this one again, let alone wait to see what Tillie Cole surprises us with in the next installment of the Hades Hangmen. I hope it will be soon though, because only another story of this amazing series will truly be able to cure the hangover I have been left with.
